Anzac Day public holiday: NSW residents to get extra day off for next two years as premier floats idea of making it permanent

NSW residents will get an extra day off this year and next year, the state’s premier has announced. Premier Chris Minns floated the idea earlier this year because Anzac Day falls on a weekend in both 2026 and 2027.
