Father-of-two Sandy Sandhu dies after hit by alleged drunk driver while jump starting car on Adelaide motorway

A family has been served a “life sentence” after a father-of-two was killed when an alleged drunk driver slammed into him while he was jump starting his car on an Adelaide motorway. Sandy Sandhu, 33, also known as Sarabdial Singh, was struck in the emergency lane at Dry Creek on the North–South Motorway, about 12km from the Adelaide CBD, just after midnight on Sunday.
