A marketing executive has died in hospital just days before she was due to face court to get an apprehended violence order for her protection. Claire Austin, 38, died of a horrific wound to her arm after she ran through a glass door in her Randwick apartment, in Sydney’s east, on Saturday night at about 7.40pm.
