Oscars host Conan O’Brien shocks with ‘paedophile’ joke and roasts Timothee Chalamet in opening monologue

This Oscars have kicked off with comedian Conan O’Brien back to host the 98th Academy Awards and no one was safe from his opening monologue. The ceremony opened with a pre-recorded clip of O’Brien channelling Amy Madigan’s character in Weapons and being chased by a group of children through scenes from the films nominated for Best Picture.
