Friends, colleagues, and the broader Sunshine Coast community are coming together to support the family of a young woman who died in a tragic ski lift accident at a popular snow resort in Japan. Brooke Day, 22, was wearing an avalanche rescue backpack when a buckle on the chest strap became caught in the lift carriage at Tsugaike Mountain Resort in Nagano Prefecture, west of Tokyo, on Friday.
