Urgent recall notice issued as dangerous bacteria detected in ham product sold at IGA in NSW and Victoria

An urgent recall notice has been issued for a ham sold in NSW and Victoria. Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) on Tuesday issued the alert for Barkly Smokehouse’s 1.9kg Lux Ham. Whole hams from the producer with a use-by date of May 6 have been found to be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes, which causes a listeria infection.
