The Warriors will open talks with Brisbane about a suitable replacement player for Mitchell Barnett, after the State of Origin prop agreed to terms with the Broncos. After requesting a release from the Warriors at year’s end on personal grounds, Barnett is set to link with the reigning premiers on a two-year deal from 2027.
